This hand-bound book combines raised, gold toned leather cords, pink waxed linen thread and Lotka paper to create a unique look.

While the covers are more secure than in most books, because the leather cords are threaded through the cover itself, the style is an inversion of the traditional methods, as the cover boards are covered with decorative paper before the spine cords are attached. This makes has the effect of the cover boards having a wider range of motion while still being very tightly secured to the body of the book.

The cover boards are 1/4" thick and are decorated with pink lotka paper and hand made, hand screened chartreuse paper with gold, pink and orange elements


The journal was hand bound with green waxed linen thread.
