The birch cover is engraved with a vintage illustration of a Venus fly trap. The book mark is a satin cord with tassel.

I love the colors of the Venus fly trap, shades of pink, magenta and light green. I brought those colors into the journal by using 3 shades of pink and one shade of green for the section covers. I wanted kind of a vintage look, so I very lightly gilded the edges. It is enough for you to notice, but not just enough to ad a special touch.

This journal has nice and thick 80lb text paper in a light cream, and is perfect for journaling or drawing. It also includes a fan pocket in the back!


The journal was hand bound with green waxed linen thread.
